Retired from the prestigious MCMDAV College for Women, Chandigarh as HOD Chemistry.
Post retirement a freelance writer and a counsellor doing counselling in various Government schools and the University under Arya Samaj
Have published three hindi poetry books
1. पीढ़ियों के क्षितिज, 2) ज़िंदगी कविता हो गई and
3) मैं हूं स्वयंसिद्धा. Have published an English poetry book " Sunset Musings " which was launched during spring edition of Chandigarh Lit Fest Litterati in 2023.
" मैं हूं स्वयंसिद्धा " was launched during the Ambala Lit Fest.
Have also translated a Hindi poetry book into English
Received a grant from Chandigarh Sahitya Academy to publish " Sunset Musings " and " मैं हूं स्वयंसिद्धा ".
