The Light The Infinite
- With every challenge comes the gorgeous opportunity to rise into the “next level” as a leader, performer and human being.
- Life is enmeshed in duality. Ebbs and flows are part of life.
- People, situations and circumstances in our lives are customised lesson plans to teach us and push us to expand our limits to become our best versions.
- Life situations are invariably different for different individuals.
With the above opening lines, I take this opportunity to introduce my life situations which have pushed me, shaped me to WHO I AM TODAY.
Let me clarify Life situations always unfold in the NOW! So being conscious of the NOW, the PRESENT and its Transformative Experience, dissolve all pain, trauma and suffering.
I rarely visit that which is called the PAST. But to give you, my readers, glimpses of my life and how it progressed, I am navigating into my past experiences.
I was young, twenty-seven years old, with two sons. The elder one was then three-and-a-half years old and the younger one, two-and-a-half years old. My husband was Assistant Conservator of Forest in Madhya Pradesh Services in India. Life was blessed. All that one could aspire for, was with us. But there is always a higher plan for every one of us.
At this juncture, when life was in full bloom, I lost my soulmate. His physical presence ceased from our life. This was a huge setback, very painful and unimaginable. In a blink of an eye everything changed.
But as it is said, “Every cloud has a silver lining”. The light that was inside me became my guide. It whispered to me, “If you create no pain for yourself, you create no pain for others. Honour being ALIVE and honour the present moment. Honour the GIFTS OF LIFE, that is your sons. When it seems that there is no way out, there is still a path which exists. This strong belief served me very
well.
So, I never turned away from the pain. I felt it, faced it, but never thought about it. I never created a SCRIPT in my mind around it.
I never let my mind use the pain to create a VICTIM IDENTITY for myself
out of it. Never ever felt sorry for myself and told my story to remain stuck in suffering and pain.
By completely accepting WHAT IS, I used the power of NOW, that is the
POWER OF PRESENCE and relinquished any attachment to the past and future.
I made the NOW, the PRESENT MOMENT my focus!
With courage, conviction, dedication, discipline and surrender to the highest intelligence residing and throbbing within me, I started my journey as a SINGLE MOTHER and a career woman/entrepreneur. I became a continuous learner. I was just a B.Sc in Biology when I got married. I did M.A.in English, B.Ed. Certificate in teaching of English, MBA (HR) along with supervising my sons’ education.
I joined as a teacher, HR, Strategic Business Partner: People Process and Self Empowering Mindset coach.
Life progressed and my sons excelled in academics. They brought many medals and trophies. My younger son got All India Rank 44 in NEET PG Exam just after doing his MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India.
Now both my sons are married. My elder son is a SAP Consultant and elder daughter-in-law a fashion designer. The younger son and daughter-in-law are both radiologists.
Currently I am enjoying my grand years with my two grandsons.
So, my message to every individual is that it is our beliefs, values, attitudes and approach that matter most in shaping our lives, no matter how difficult life situations are.
All that is needed to navigate life is within us.
We are already empowered. “Em” means to become aware of, to bring to conscious state, the power that lies within.
My wish and hope is that every individual finds the TREASURE, that lies within them. The only thing on their part is to unveil this TREASURE, which is waiting to be found and see the light of the day; become the LIGHT of the world.
