Deepanjali has completed her graduation from Jesus and Mary college, Delhi. She has a Masters in English, a Diploma in Business Administration from Australia along with a Diploma in Mass Communications. She has worked with various organisations including UNDP, Centre for Feminist Legal Research, Sinclair Knight Mertz, Australia and Holmesglen Australia. She is an author, poet, painter and educationist and loves working with children.She is an executive body member of the Wildlife Preservations Society, India. Being an avid painter, her paintings have been displayed in art galleries and art websites. Her paintings were exhibited in an online exhibition with 21 women artists to celebrate Womenâs Day in 2021 exhibited by Living Heritage Gallery. She is a Director at LearnTaastic (a company that develops personality through performing arts in various schools across Dehradun). She received the Womenâs Achiever Award in the field of education from Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat (ex-chief minister of Uttarakhand) in October 2024.Deepanjali has a podcast and radio show on Radio Ghamchaya called â Every one has a story to tellâ, launched recently.Deepanjali has published a fun educative book called âTiger Storyâ for little children to learn about tigers. The illustrations in Tiger Story are drawn by her daughters who were 10 and 7 yrs old. Her poem âDreamsâ was published in an anthology named Paper Planes by Write Order publishers. She published her poetry collection book Spring Breeze in 2023. Deepanjali was part of Poetry Cafâ© at the Valley of Words International Literature Festival 2022 along with being on the panel of Women Writers Hangout as an author to celebrate International Womenâs Day 2023 hosted by Booknerds. She was also one of the poets at the Kavita tere kitne roop by Valley of Words Literature Festival 2023. She was one of the poets in a session dedicated to Poet/journalist Jaskiran Chopra called Jaskiran ki yaad mein which was chaired by Navtej Saran at Valley of Words Literature Festival 2024. She was also the lead discussant at the Literary Table Literature festival 2024 for author Kiran Manralâs book launch. She was also the lead discussant at Bijoya Sawian book release at VOW Literature Festival 2024.She has adjudged various inter school competitions like ITI Natya by Valley of Words, House of Kathanak by Unison World school, Inter school Junior poetry recitation at The OASIS and various poetry, literature and drama competitions at many schools. She is a moderator and discussant at various literature festivals. She was also a panellist at the OASIS Literature Festival in 2024.Deepanjali is currently working on her next childrenâs book. Her interests lie in writing, poetry, nature, wildlife, photography, travelling and trekking.Â
