Udhayan Chaudhry worked as a Section Officer in the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi. He retired in the year 2019. He is a chess player and a coach and has represented New Delhi in the All-India Civil Services Chess tournament, a national level tournament four times. He represented his school and college in cricket, soccer, badminton, athletics and chess. Listening to music, following geopolitics and reading books are his hobbies. He also helps his wife in her business activities.
