Lolita Bhattacharya writes for children as she believes in this age of digitisation, good reading will spark the imagination and enhance their thoughts and creativity thereby expanding their awareness and understanding. She has participated in various anthologies and short stories for children. She tries to sketch stories and draw inspiration from the real incidents that happen around her. Her passion in reading and listening to stories led her to become an amateur writer. The process of writing has always been very cathartic for her. She believes in breaking the stereotypes through her writings.
