Bilingual poet Gopa Bhattacharjee was born and brought up in Kolkata. She is an entrepreneur and also an adjunct lecturer of a teacher training institute. She also runs an online institute named The Pathway.

Her two poetry books UNTURNED VERSES and THIRTY BIRDS were published at Kolkata International Book Fair in 2020 and 2022. Recently her bilingual poetry book MINDSCAPES written with two other fellow poets was launched in ICCR. Her Bengali poetry book AAR EKTI SEPTIPIN was published in KIBF2024 . This year her second poetry chap book named EK MUTHO SOMOY was published in KIBF 2026 .

She has been the featured poet and speaker at the American Consulate, Tata Kolkata Lit Meet, Russian Consulate, Latin American Consulate ,Nagar Kirrtibas and many other cultural meets in and out of Kolkata.
