Ravindra Tandon retired from the post of the Principal Chief Operations Manager, Indian Railways, as a senior civil servant, having had an illustrious career of more than three decades. He has been a student of English literature. Sculpture, painting and poetry are his passions. He is a conjurer of unique images, which one may copiously savour in all art media he practises as an amateur artist. His abstract, steel and iron sculptures are installed at several rail points in the country.
